More than 120 artists will be opening their doors for visitors to see their work and take part in some family fun activities.

Wimbledon Arts Studios in Riverside Road will be holding its 27th bi-annual show, featuring up-and-coming artists as well as established artists, photographers, ceramicists and textile designers, from Thursday May 13 to Sunday May 16.

The complex, which started in 1993 with just six artists, has since grown into what is thought to be the largest art studio site in the UK with more than 100 studios making up a vibrant art community.

Organisers hope more than 5,000 people will attend the four-day event, which starts with preview evenings from 6pm-10pm on Thursday and Friday.

There will be a family fun day on Sunday, with fairies, face-painting and story-telling. A show catalogue will guide visitors around both buildings and list all exhibitors.
