Alexander Northcote to contest the Brentford & Isleworth seat for Tories

Alexander Northcote, the Conservative’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Brentford & Isleworth has used a visit to Fuller’s Brewery to praise the work of British Business and to set out the Party’s proposals for business: Action for Business.

After touring the landmark brewery with Tim Turner, Commercial Director of Fuller Smith & Turner P.L.C., Northcote said: “Fuller’s is not only a landmark for thousands of people as they travel through our constituency, it is also one of Britain’s most successful companies. London Pride is the UK’s top-selling premium cask ale. I congratulate everyone involved in keeping this company at the top in what is an extremely competitive market.

“The Conservative Party is putting the needs of business at the heart of our plans for Government. We will cut the burden of regulation that is making life harder and harder for local employers. Sir Richard Branson has said that he worries about the level of regulation, and the Government’s own ‘Better Regulation Task Force’ has admitted that no one in Government now knows how many regulations there are."

He added that under the present Government the number of regulations governing business had increased by 55% compared to under the Tories and he pledged that they would deregulate to 'free up British business.
