Armed Robbery At Petrol Station Cashpoint

Shot fired as suspects ambush security officers at Somerfield Dome

Police were called to the scene of an armed robbery on Friday 16th November at 03.45.

The victims, both Asian males in their mid thirties were either depositing or removing cash from a cash point machine located at the Somerfield Dome Petrol Station on the Great West Road.

As they made their way back to the security van parked next to the cash point they were approached by one of the suspects.

A struggle was reported to have occurred during which the first suspect was seen to have what was described as a small pistol in his hand. The suspect fired a shot towards the floor before he made off with case believed to be approximately £60.

The suspect joined another suspect in a waiting blue Mitsubishi Shogun and headed north along Ealing Road in the direction of Acton.

The only description of the suspects available is that they were both white males.
