Ealing and Hounslow councils today announced the next meeting of the Gunnersbury Park Joint Advisory Panel which will take place on Monday 30 November 2009.

Results from the recent public consultation about options for the future of the park will be presented to the panel.

Hounslow’s Executive Member for Leisure, Cllr Rebecca Stewart, says: “Both Ealing and ourselves were keen to get this meeting fixed as soon as possible. Full results from the public consultation are keenly awaited by all councillors on the panel and will be key to their discussions about what can be done to ensure a bright future for this important park and green space.”

Local organisations with a keen interest in the park have now agreed 5 December for their next stakeholder group meeting, where results of the consultation will be presented and discussed by the public.
