An Ealing woman received a nasty surprise when she found a naked and unwelcome man in her bedroom. In an effort to track down the intruder police have issued an e-fit of the suspect and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying him.

The incident occurred in Oxford Road, Ealing, W5 on Tuesday 18th July 2006. The victim, a 30 year old female, was watching TV in her bedroom. She had the patio style doors of her bedroom open, as it was the height of the hot spell.

At around 12.20am she left her bedroom leaving the patio style doors open and went to her kitchen to make herself a drink. On returning to her bedroom a couple of minutes later she was confronted by a naked male standing in her bedroom.

She screamed and demanded the suspect left her home. He slowly moved backwards and walked out of the open patio doors. He then bent down picked his clothes up from the ground outside the patio doors got dressed and walked off.

The man is described as being in his late twenties to early thirties, of mixed race with an olive complexion. He had a an athletic build and was between 5ft 8" and 5ft 10". He had shaven dark hair with a receding hair line, dark coloured eyebrows, an angular shaped face that was unshaven with dark stubble. His accent was local and he had a flat to mid range voice. He was wearing a blue t-shirt and red shorts.

Detective Constable Sam O’ Callaghan, Ealing Borough Police said, "This was a very frightening couple of minutes for the victim. We must stress that this type of incident is very rare in Ealing Borough. However we are treating this incident very seriously and are anxious to trace the offender."
